This refund policy applies to all orders placed on the containerslager.com website.

2. General Principle

This policy sets forth the refund terms applicable to products returned in accordance with the Return Policy.

It applies to returns made:

• within the statutory 14-calendar-day period
• or within the extended commercial 30-business-day period

It is established in accordance with:

• Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code
• Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights

3. Refund Period

In accordance with Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code, the refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 calendar days from:

• the actual receipt of the returned product
or
• the receipt of proof of shipment provided by the customer

The date used is the earlier of these two dates.

No refund will be issued prior to receipt of the product or proof of shipment.

4. Refund Method

The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the order, namely:

• a credit back to the credit card used (via Stripe)
• or a refund via bank transfer if the initial payment was made by bank transfer

Another refund method may only be used with the customer’s express consent.

The refund is processed at no cost to the customer.

5. Refund Amount

The refund includes:

• the total price of the product, including tax
• the initial standard shipping costs

The following are not refunded:

• any express or premium shipping costs selected
• return shipping costs, except in the case of:

* a shipping error
* a defective product
* non-conformity

6. Cases of partial refunds

In accordance with Article L221-23 of the Consumer Code, a proportional discount may be applied if the returned product exhibits:

• an incomplete condition
• damage
• excessive use beyond mere inspection
• the absence of essential components

In such cases:

• the deduction is strictly proportional to the observed depreciation
• it is objectively justified
• it is communicated to the customer prior to approval of the refund

7. Non-compliant or defective product

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, the customer is entitled to the legal warranty of conformity in accordance with Articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code.

In the event of non-conformity, the customer may request:

• repair
• replacement
• or a refund

These procedures are carried out at no cost.

In this case, return shipping costs are fully covered by GRIMAULT DROUET CONTAINERS.

8. Proof of shipment

The customer must retain all proof of shipment (tracking number, carrier receipt) until written confirmation of receipt is provided.

In the absence of such proof, the company cannot be held liable in the event of loss of the package.

9. Processing Times

Once the refund has been issued, the time it takes to appear in your account may vary depending on the financial institution:

• Credit card: 2 to 10 business days
• Bank transfer: 1 to 5 business days

These processing times are beyond the company’s control.
